Whimsical, Colorful and Classy
The Capen House in Winter Park Florida is one of my favorite venues in Orlando not only because I live very close to it (which is a plus hehe) but because it has the best lighting in the afternoons, gives off the best garden party/garden portraits, and because it has a beautiful view over Lake Osceola! This was such a fun wedding to be apart of. Savannah and Joey were such a sweet couple to work with and they also hired my now husband, DJ Jimmy for their reception.
I was in love with their aesthetic and choice of florals. We started the day at the Alfond Inn where the Bride and her bridesmaids got ready in. We then headed over to the Capen House for groomsmen portraits and had their ceremony out on the lawn. Their reception was illuminated by the italian streetlights and the dancing was inside. Since this wedding venue is on the water of a residential neighborhood, you can’t have amplified sound outdoors. So you have to have music inside.
