The UCF Graduation Outfit Guide

Still not sure what you're going to wear? No worries, I got you!

Hey fellow UCF Knights, when it comes to choosing an outfit for your graduation photoshoot, you want to be practical.

The things you want to avoid are things like wearing an outfit that is super uncomfortable (scratchy, itchy, sleeves on a hot day, etc), patterned outfits that are very distracting in the photos (polk a dots, loud colors, patterns for every location), and outfits that are to short or revealing (don’t forget to remember the people who will be seeing these photos, such as family members. Avoid revealing to much skin).

Here are a few outfit tips:

-You can’t go wrong with Nuetral colors (solid colors). Find a color that is complimentary with the locations you are going to. Black and White are two very popular colors.  Avoid Neon.

-You want to feel confident in your outfit and feel like your best self! So if you were planning on treating yourself to a new outfit or planning on getting one for your commencement, now is the best time to do that!

-If you wear anything with a LOGO or words, make sure its either UCF apparel or in the lines of your college graduation theme.

-If you want to go “Trendy” for your first outfit, pick a “Classic” outfit for your second. Remember trends can change and looking back, you might really dislike the outfit you chose for yourself.

-Make sure your friends and family also follow these guidelines so nobody is clashing or wearing the identical outfit as you.

-Wear an outfit that is true to your style and represents your authentic self.

-Keep it simple

Here are a few other tips:

-Avoid over accessorizing. A subtle necklace, bracelet or earrings goes a long way.

-If you wear glasses, consider non-glare glasses or contact lenses.

-Natural Hair and Makeup always look great because you want to represent an authentic version of yourself in the moment. You want to look and feel your best and yourself! If you aren’t good at hair and makeup, consider working with an outside vendor.

-Wear waterproof makeup. You have to do this living in Florida so your makeup isn’t melting off your face, cause that isn’t fun at all! lol

-Have your nails done & clean. You will be holding you’re UCF graduation regalia for some closeups

Florida Couples, Destination Elopements & Weddings

Plan a fun filled day for you and your significant other, anywhere in Florida and beyond. With beautiful beaches, botanical gardens, or historic towns, spend the day exploring a new location with me while getting insanely stunning portraits. I will be your guide as we effortlessly capture your love story.
About me one
About me two

I care about your love and representing your milestones in the most natural and creative way possible, on top of a super fun experience. Seeing clients reactions to their photographs when they labeled themselves as "non-photogenic" is the most rewarding part of what I do. As a photographer with years of experience in the service industry, I do my best to make your experience as enjoyable as I would want for myself. I can't wait to start working together. ~ Shaya
