Intimate Elopement in Downtown St Augustine Florida with a fun Sailboat Ride at the end!
It was a beautiful Wedding day for Shannon and Aryeh in mid November. The weather was warm and overcast which made for nice even lighting in the Courtyard of the Columbia Restaurant off of St George street in downtown Orlando. This is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at in St Augustine, with their delicious paella, famous 1905 salad, and countless other Cuban inspired dishes.
The ceremony was set up in the courtyard which was the perfect size for an Intimate Elopement with under 20 guests in attendance. While their original wedding date was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this was a time for these two to say their vows to one another in front of their family members. After the ceremony, they changed into comfier clothing for a few photos in front of their hotel; The Casa Monica Resort & Spa, and then we headed to the marina for a sailboat ride with the local Schooner Freedom Charters. It was so much fun to set sail and take a ride up and down the Matanzas River. We got a great view of the Bridge of Lions and Castillo de San Marcos fort.
If you have never been to St Augustine Florida, the style and aesthetic of the town is historic, vibrant and filled with various types of beautiful architecture. Walking down the streets, you will pass so many great photo ops and be able to absorb the rich culture. That is why I love being able to call St Augustine my home town.

I care about your love and representing your milestones in the most natural and creative way possible, on top of a super fun experience. Seeing clients reactions to their photographs when they labeled themselves as "non-photogenic" is the most rewarding part of what I do. As a photographer with years of experience in the service industry, I do my best to make your experience as enjoyable as I would want for myself. I can't wait to start working together. ~ Shaya
